 Aside, on Damien's end table, could be found the opened gift box and the accompanying letter he was quoting. Yes, he broke the seal of the periwinkle envelope; addressed to him from an ambassador of the Mushroom Kingdom, it said. Specifically from a subordinate of some royal named Bowser. All these strange names must've muddled Damien's memory of the name of she who sent him this gift. After all, a new change of clothing wasn't something to sneeze at.
The letter had said she was a fan. Damien hadn't considered his popularity in other kingdoms. Well, when he would look again, he would see: clearly scrawled on the letter's lower half, under the words "From a fan" was the gentle signature of the Princess Boo B~

Hee, sorry for the mini-crossover, but I just couldn't help but find similarities between Damien and Princess Boo B. Then when this contest as announced, it was a done deal. Quite frankly, he's my favorite character.

Like how my fanart here shows my appreciation to artist MistyTang for making such an engaging comic and a character that I can actually like, this sending of a new outfit is Princess Boo B's way of showing Damien her appreciation of his character. lol yea, there's a good chance he might not quite understand?

Anyways, clothing explanation! Princess Boo B had her dress made out of Boo shrouds, and seeing how it'd been a while since Damien wore blue, sending him a new blue outfit made similarly seemed like a great gift idea for this supporting character! Don't worry though. He won't go floating away like her. --well, maybe with the help of the sash-- His outfit is still grounded with the threads of some traditional fabrics, but still suited for a royal magician like he.
( Princess Boo B's style of clothing dreamily floats through the pale colors of blue and indigo, glowing on the silky opaques and smiling sweetly behind the sheers. I hope he likes~ )
